How do I create a surface grid from a DXF TIN file?

I have a surface grid, but it is in a 3D vector format, otherwise known as a TIN or wireframe model.

How do I create a standard surface grid image format for use in the Surfaces module?

Solution

To create a grid from a DXF or other 3D vector TIN file (TIN surface, wireframe/mesh), simply use Surfaces>Convert Vector File to Grid.

Note that the TIN needs to contain a single, continuous face (surface).
